The Ignite Youth Ministry believes in empowering today's youth through power, love, and self-discipline. Our goal is to use the Word of God, practical life skills, and tools from day to day interactions to provide experiences they can carry into their future.

At PHOP our youth experience safe, exciting, and engaging environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Here's what to expect...

Before Service: You and your child(ren) will be greeted by our Youth Welcome Team. At this time, we will gather the name(s) of your child(ren) so they can receive a gift from the church at the end of service.

After Service: Your child(ren) will be recognized and receive a gift.

During Service: You and your child(ren) will have the opportunity to participate in our worship service. Feel free to worship freely and openly. We are a judgement free church and welcome all expressions of worship that glorify God.

Pastor Garyon Judon joined the PHOP leadership team in 2021 as the Pastor of Youth Ministries. Pastor Garyon has traveled the nation performing as a professional theatre actor and has searched for a church like PHOP where he can share his years of theatrical experience through ministry. Yahweh Dance is a group of young ladies who minister through praise dance. YD was established in 2018 and has thirteen members ranging from ages 6-17 years old. Minister Melissa Wilson heads up the dancers and has over twenty years of experience ministering through dance. Under her leadership, YD has been afforded the opportunity to minister throughout Kentucky and numerous other states. Recently, YD ministered at the Music Love Awards in Little Rock, AR where they received the CEO's Choice Award.
